Η συλλογική προσπάθεια «FlevaRes-Καλλιτέχνες ἐν οἴκω̨» με αφετηρία το Οίκημα «Βασιλιάς Νικοκλής» αποσκοπεί στη στήριξη της παραγωγής και διάδοσης καλλιτεχνικού πνευματικού έργου, καθώς και στη δημιουργία προϋποθέσεων ώστε, να υπάρξουν δυνατότητες γνωριμιών, ανταλλαγής ιδεών, διάδρασης και πιθανής συνεργασίας μεταξύ καλλιτεχνών. Ταυτόχρονα, σημαντικό μέρος της προσπάθειας στρέφεται στους φιλοξενούμενους καλλιτέχνες και στην ουσιαστική επαφή τους με τα στοιχεία εκείνα της μικρής χώρας μας, που συνθέτουν μια πραγματικά πλούσια και ανεκτίμητη πηγή ιδεών και έμπνευσης αποσκοπώντας έτσι με σταθερά βήματα, στη διεκδίκηση μιας θέσης της Κύπρου και ιδιαιτέρως, της Πάφου στον διεθνή κατάλογο με τους μικρούς μεν, αξιοπρόσεχτους δε, προορισμούς για καλλιτέχνες.

A WARM WELCOME TO THE BOSOM OF THE EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN

 The FlevaRes Artists’ Residency Project with the Vasilias Nikoklis Inn as a starting point aims to provide support towards the creation and the circulation of new artistic oeuvre, and towards contributing to the meetings, exchange of ideas, interaction and possible collaboration between artists. At the same time, an integral part of this effort is to give the chance to the Artists-in-Residence to discover and experience the local elements that compose a truly rich and treasured source for ideas and inspiration, leading Cyprus, and particularly Paphos, to acquiring a position in the international list of small, yet worthwhile destinations for artists.
