Vasilias Nikoklis Inn

Vasilias History

From the moment you enter the Vasilias Nikoklis Inn, the tranquil atmosphere suggests that it has a long and fascinating history. Our beautiful family-owned Inn has been painstakingly and passionately renovated with the aim of remaining true to its ancient heritage as a khan or travelers rest. Reputed to be over 100 years old, the original building that now forms the ground floor was gifted as a wedding present to Tassos and Dora Konstantinou.

Creating a dream

The Vasilias Nikoklis Inn has remained in the family to this day thanks to the hard work that was applied to renovating what was effectively nothing more than some ruins back in 1980. It was the dream of Tassos and Dora to create a taverna around the existing 2 bedrooms, internal yard, and winter sitting area. Following the properties success as a taverna, the decision was made to tastefully extend the property. This increased space on a further level creating 6 more bedrooms with a capacity to accommodate a total of 16 guests in 8 bedrooms.

Staying true to the Cypriot tradition

The latest generation of the Konstantinou family now owns and manages the Vasilias Nikoklis Inn as a traditional Cypriot holiday and wedding venue. The building retains its original charm and blends perfectly within its natural surroundings making it a haven for those seeking a Cyprus holiday away from the hustle and bustle.
